I'm Back, March 1st.

I'm back...It's been awhile since I've posted. I've been working on my health. I think I told
ya'll that I found out that I'm Diabetic. Boy, getting use to a new way of eating and planning
meals...well, it can be tough. But I sure do want to feel better.
Now, my crafting, I've been going through my supplies and getting organized or at least trying to.
Sometimes I feel like I'm under a pile of just stuff and have to many things started. My goal is to get some
of these finished up here soon and post them on here. I want to also use this as a selling blog as well. Keep checking back and I should have some items post here soon. Oh, I wanna even do some giveaways as well to thank ya'll for reading my blog.

I got to chat online with my son today, he is in Afganhastan. It's great that we are able to stay in touch by way of internet. I know this helps his wife and son too.  So it's good that someone at different times get to stay in touch and know that he is doing fine. I sure do miss him and Nancy my daughter in-law & grandson Ethan. She stayed in Germany where Chris was stationed. Too expensive for them to fly back and forth. I'm planning on going over there at the first of next year when Chris gets back. This will be the longest time apart seeing them.

2010 Happy New Year's Day

Happy New Year's.....


Hope everyone has a Wonderful New Year and enjoy's this day off...if you have it off. .The day started off raining like cat's and dog's..now it is nice and cold outside. We are waiting on the Rib's to get done.  Yes, we are eating our Blackeyed Peas, and Collard greens for "Good Luck". I will try to post some Pic's this weekend. I want to get started on my crafts for the Craft Show's. I will only do Fall, Holiday shows. I think it will take me all year to get the inventory up, due to me having a full time job. New York City

Hi Ya'll,
This past summer I went to New York City for the first time in my life. I went with my sister and nephew. We had such a wonderful time. Saw so much in the short 5 days we were there. The only thing was I was just really not feeling well while we were there. And still didn't feel right for the next couple of months. So went to my Doc and found out I was diabetic.
This is a new venture for me. I guess it has forced me to get back in shape and eat healthy. I've tried for years,but now it's a must. It's been an adventure trying to find what works with me. I eat the wrong thing and my sugar goes up. I've given up sweets for over a month and when I ate something at Christmas, boy it was too sweet. It's just playing the number game now.
I am going to use my Crafts as a way to keep me busy. Boy, did it keep me busy during the holidays. I made gifts for co-workers and didn't even think about snacking at night. So crafting will have to be my not snacking crutch...lol..
Anyone out there diabetic?? What good recipes do you have? Oh, I ate some potatoes yesterday for lunch,,well, that shot my numbers way up. So no potatoes for me for quite sometime..

What's up for the New Year??

Hi,
What's up for the New Year?? Well, I'm gonna start working on getting my Crafting Business back on track. I want to enter some Craft Show's this year and I really need to plan ahead. From what I'm reading on blogs, forums, etc. ya'll work all throughout the year. My favorite time of the year is Christmas and I love making Prim Christmas Crafts. I started playing around making and grunging Candles. I really love doing that. I just love all the bakery smells.
I need to clear a space in my spare bedroom and get to work. Would like to get started on sewing as well.

So, what's up with all of you? What are your plans for the New Year. Hope everyone has a wonderful new year coming up.

Trying to set up my blog

Well, I am trying to figure this blogging thing out. I want to
add buttons and I am having a very hard time. I will have to
do some more research on this.
I still have my Christmas decorations up and need to take those
down sometime this week. I'd like to start on something for
Valentines Day.
Well, this is short again,,,gotta figure this computer stuff
out. Learning own my own...

Adding Banner's

Well, you see I'm not the best at adding Banner's and stuff. I am figuring it out on
my own, but slowly. I guess that's the best way to learn and remember.
The banner was a freebie I uploaded and then loaded to the blog. It's a little
off center. But I hear practice make perfect. We'll see....
Well, that's all for tonight, got a busy day at work tomorrow and need some
shut eye..
Will try to post some primitive finds that I have and love.

Another Day

Here I am trying to figure out this blog website. Want to add buttons to be
