Amish Country ~~ Berlin Ohio

Just wanted to share some pic's from the A Primitive Journey Gathering we had in Berlin, Ohio. We had an awesome time meeting all of each other and getting to know each other. So many funny stories we shared. We shopped till we dropped. Some got to go out to the Yoder Amish Farm. My sister and I had a blast there, she didn't want to miss her buggy Amish ride. That was so much fun. In the above photo is a group of us that stayed at the same hotel. Sure do miss you girls, and can't wait to see you all next year.

YMCA

I joined the YMCA after work today. I've been needing to exercise, but just couldn't get motivated. So my friend joined with me. Thanks to her I know we can do this. Get Healthy and get in shape.  Gotta take some pounds off and hopefully get off the meds for diabetes. I was kinda scared to go and join, but while working out I was looking around and there are all kinds of people there. Not just the perfect body people. You know what I'm talking about. I am looking forward to going back tomorrow. 
News about Crafting, well I've done a few swaps and have two more swaps to finish up. Then I need to get my butt in gear and get lot's done for a couple of fall craft shows. 
My son is doing fine over in Afganhastan. I hear from him online through our facebook page or yahoo instant message. That really helps when we all can talk to each other.

But I was getting worried, I haven't heard from my son in a couple of weeks. He is deployed in Afganhastan. We usually get to chat on Facebook or Yahoo Chat every couple of days. Or at least a friend or family member will catch him online. But Nothing... Then on Saturday we got to chat several times and he also got to chat with his sister.

Back Up and Running & First Give-A-Way !!!

Hi Everyone,
I've been away from blogging for awhile. Just like all of you, seems like there is not enough time in the day to get everything done. Had a Yard Sale last weekend with my Sister. We did pretty well, got rid of alot of stuff. I didn't get to go through my attic or closets, but will do that when we ever have another one. Boy it sure was hot that day. But at least we finished up around 1:00.
I'm trying to get back in the grove of all my crafting, Fall will be here before we know it and I won't have tons of stuff done for the 2 shows I want to be in. I haven't done a show in years, and I'm excited about being in them. I figured I had not better overwhelm myself by doing to many shows this year. Gotta get the merchandise made and have plenty.

Last night I worked on a Framed Vintage looking Collage. I don't know what you would call it. It turned out pretty well, I took it to work and everyone loved it. Gonna make more and different types and have them over at my selling blog along with other Prim goodies. 
So I'm back and I'm gonna do my first Giveaway..WooHoo...lol...So I will draw a name on June 1st.

I'm Back, March 1st.

I'm back...It's been awhile since I've posted. I've been working on my health. I think I told
ya'll that I found out that I'm Diabetic. Boy, getting use to a new way of eating and planning
meals...well, it can be tough. But I sure do want to feel better.
Now, my crafting, I've been going through my supplies and getting organized or at least trying to.
Sometimes I feel like I'm under a pile of just stuff and have to many things started. My goal is to get some
of these finished up here soon and post them on here. I want to also use this as a selling blog as well. Keep checking back and I should have some items post here soon. Oh, I wanna even do some giveaways as well to thank ya'll for reading my blog.

I got to chat online with my son today, he is in Afganhastan. It's great that we are able to stay in touch by way of internet. I know this helps his wife and son too.  So it's good that someone at different times get to stay in touch and know that he is doing fine. I sure do miss him and Nancy my daughter in-law & grandson Ethan. She stayed in Germany where Chris was stationed. Too expensive for them to fly back and forth. I'm planning on going over there at the first of next year when Chris gets back. This will be the longest time apart seeing them.

2010 Happy New Year's Day

Happy New Year's.....


Hope everyone has a Wonderful New Year and enjoy's this day off...if you have it off. .The day started off raining like cat's and dog's..now it is nice and cold outside. We are waiting on the Rib's to get done.  Yes, we are eating our Blackeyed Peas, and Collard greens for "Good Luck". I will try to post some Pic's this weekend. I want to get started on my crafts for the Craft Show's. I will only do Fall, Holiday shows. I think it will take me all year to get the inventory up, due to me having a full time job.
